We began a recent Saturday in the most beautiful note: sleeping in late, it was sunny and no wind, the sailors had already left for their day on the water, so it was a quiet, charming. We decided to go to the Saturday market, once had a good breakfast on the terrace.
As I am preparing to go to the city, suddenly I heard Jim's version of John Philip Sousa "March Washington!" (I guess he was practicing for the July 4th or something!) This is particularly strange, because usually performing songs from the Eagles or James Taylor. What a blow to the calm state of mind and meditative day had so far! But wait - it gets worse: Kazoo added to your interpretation! Now, this certainly was the end of the morning peace and quiet!
So ... this is what "living extravagantly," is it! This is what makes my husband happy enchanting - to be mad, bad, strong in a quiet, beautiful morning. After 38 years of knowing this man, I am fully aware of it - and that makes me smile (well, as long as it does not last too long Kazoo!).
"Rarity" appears all the time in our daily lives. We will definitely work in her cubicle when dealing with people at work or at home from our partners:
Neatniks * must have compassion and patience for Clutterers, and ...
* Clutterers need to learn respect for the common areas, and maintain its dining rooms themselves.
Like any other group that is involved with (family or work), which takes different personalities to do things:
* The creative "B" types are generally the innovators, thinkers;
* The have-to-do "A" types do just that, and ...
* By pressing the buttons on each can sometimes make us anxious, but it takes all of us to accomplish something!
Our personality quirks come all the time in other organizational processes, too:
* Want to see everything you're working out in front of you? Or ...
* Do you prefer to pull the project files when you are ready for them?
Moreover,
* Are you one who likes to have things presented to some sort of plan - in alphabetical order, the color files in the project / supplier, or ...
* Do you want all your papers in front of you, around you, on top of that, in piles, you are sure you know where everything is?
Remember: you should not go against the grain of their natural tendencies. Just make "adjustments" to the peculiarities of being slightly more effective. For example, for a lot of useful, you must order at least a share "to read", "do", "file". The batteries are great for immediate projects is working, but that stack well enough defined that you can always watch - and stay within those limits.
Also remember that "it takes all kinds," and there is no single way to go about any project of organization. Something is not working? Give a pinch or two and you're much closer to the success you seek!
So, what is the latest extravaganza Jim get? At least he's playing his Kalimba now ... a much quieter, softer instrument. We have to see what the next Saturday morning has in store!
